Punjab and Haryana High Court Inquires Report on the Appointment of Female Attendants in School Buses

 

The Punjab and Haryana High Court ask reports for school authorities regarding the appointment of female attendant within three days. This direction was circulated by the special division bench under the supervision of justice Surya Kant and justice Ajay Tiwari.

This committee took this decision while discussing the issues regarding the implementation of policies on school transportation. During the hearing, the Punjab and Haryana High Court decided to appoint female attendants in school bus carrying female students whereas a male attendant for the school bus carrying male students.

In addition to this, the High Court mentioned that there will be joint inspections done by transport departments as well as child rights protection commission to ensure that the policies have been followed or not.
